Arley Hall was designed by local architect George Latham during the 1830s in a typical ‘Jacobethan’ style, adopting many elements of Elizabethan design. A beautiful Gothic Revival church also stands adjacent to the house adding further  architectural interest. The garden’s  herbaceous borders were some of the first in Britain and remain some of the finest.
